audio
- you can use usb to stream the stereo audio signal straight to your computer. connect it over usb and OP–Z will show up as a class compliant plug and play audio interface. refer to your digital audio workstation (daw) manual on how to set it up for your specific needs.
- if you already have an external audio interface you can connect the stereo line out jack from OP–Z to the inputs of your interface, and route OP–Z audio to your daw through there. the stereo signal may need to be split into dual mono (left / right). for this you can use a stereo splitter cable: https://teenage.engineering/store/stereo-splitter/
midi
- OP-Z sends and receives midi on all 16 tracks over usb, which can be used in your daw. refer to its manual on how to set it up for your specific needs. for midi over 3.5 mm jack (compatible with 5-pole midi over din) and cv/gate/trig use the ZM-1 oplab module accessory: https://teenage.engineering/store/oplab-module
