where do i find my serial number?

OP–1 field

the OP–1 field serial number is laser engraved on the top side, by the speaker. OP-1 field serial numbers are displayed in the format L1######. the serial number can also be found on the sticker on the original case.

 

OP-1 original

the OP-1 serial number can be found on the sticker on the bottom of the original paper foam case, and is commonly displayed in the format TE002/T9Y/T9Z/T9X###### (it is not TE002AS001A as that is the general product code.)

it can also be found underneath the back panel on the bottom side of the unit.
note: be careful not to scratch the coating of the synth when removing the panel.

if you can not find it and don't want to open the back panel then you could do the following:

    1. turn OP-1 off.
    2. disconnect the usb cable.
    3. wait three seconds.
    4. press and hold the [com] key on the OP-1 while turning the power on. this will take you to the te-boot screen.
    5. hold [shift] and press [1].
    6. connect OP-1 to computer using the usb cable. the OP-1 will appear as a removable disk on your computer.
    7. open the OP-1 folder and find the file: OP_DATA.TXT
    8. attach OP_DATA.TXT as a reply to this email.
    9. eject the OP-1 removable disk and turn OP-1 off.
    10. contact support and attach the OP_DATA.TXT file.
    11. we will get back to you with your serial number.

 

OP–Z

the OP–Z serial number can be found on the bottom sticker on the original packaging. it's commonly displayed in the format of X3C#####.

it can also be found behind the backplate in the bottom left corner.

the third and final way to retrieve the OP-Z is to:

  1. hold [screen] while starting OP–Z to boot the unit in upgrade mode.
  2. OP-Z will show up in the computer as an external removable usb disk. open it.
  3. then open the folder "systeminfo".
  4. open the text file "serial.txt".
  5. your OP-Z serial number will be displayed in the first line, next to unit, as X3C#####.

 

TX–6

the TX-6 serial number is laser engraved on the back of the unit in the bottom left. the serial number is displayed in the format F2######. the serial number can also be found on the sticker on the original box.

 

pocket operators

the pocket operator serial number can be found on the barcode sticker on the bottom of the original case, and is commonly displayed in the format ########.

 

OD–11

the OD–11 serial number can be found on the outer box of the original packaging. it's commonly displayed in the format of Z4B#####.

it can also be found on the actual unit, on the bottom side of the speaker.

the third way to find out the OD–11 serial number is through the orthoplay app. 

 

OB–4

the serial number for OB–4 can be found on the outer box of the original packaging. it's commonly displayed in the format of Z4C#####.

it can also be found inside OB–4, under the bottom hatch. use a spudger or similar tool to carefully remove the bottom.

ortho remote

the ortho remote serial number can be found on the outer box of the original packaging and is commonly displayed in the format of R9C#####.

the serial number can also be found inside the unit, by removing the bottom lid.
